Julia Child's Kitchen / Salad Spinner

". . . above all have a good time." Julia Child
vs.
"Life is too complicated not to be orderly." Martha Stewart

Who would you rather have had a beer with?
Film Julie & Julia opens Friday, August 7, 2009
In 2001 Julia Child donated her famous kitchen located in Cambridge, MA to the Smithsonian's American History wing. If you are not able to make it to the museum they have a nice tour online. At first glance, it appears the set designers left out no small detail when constructing this important set/character for the film.

FYI: The salad spinner was one of the gadget that Julia introduced as a must have for American at home kitchens. Who wants soggy lettuce that can't hold it's dressing? More objects from Julia's kitchen.
